For example, the African National Congress (ANC) uses a vibrant palette of green, yellow, and black to symbolize unity and resilience, while the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) employs bold red to signify revolution and empowerment. Effective design helps these parties connect with their diverse constituents, reflecting their cultural heritage and political aspirations while fostering a sense of community and pride among supporters. As new parties emerge, innovative designs can reinvigorate political engagement and attract younger voters, emphasizing the importance of visual communication in South Africa’s dynamic political landscape.

We collaborated with a new political party to design dynamic T-shirts that reflected their fresh vision while also revamping the designs of their older merchandise. Through brainstorming sessions and surveys, we captured the party’s core values and messaging, creating bold, eye-catching graphics and slogans that resonate with their target audience. For the older T-shirts, we modernized the designs to ensure consistency and appeal, integrating contemporary styles while maintaining the essence of their original branding.
